After 17 years of experience in Clinical Research Industry as Regulatory & Health Science writer and Senior Faculty in Clinical Research Academy of The Indian Chapter of Association of Clinical Research Professional, USA, Soumi diversified her path. She leveraged her expertise to work with children of all ages ( K-12 and young adults) , focusing on fostering self-awareness, community engagement, and environmental consciousness through various interdisciplinary learning programs.

In her journey as an educator , she has consciously and effectively incorporated pedagogies  to build social    and emotional learning  ( SEL) as core competencies to orient the children towards the sustainable development goals ( SDGs)

A mother, a nature poet, a dancer and a post-graduate in Environmental Botany, Soumi strongly believes that it’s essential for children to grasp the interconnectedness of self, society, and environment. This understanding equips them to perceive the bigger picture and help them to navigate through our complex and unpredictable world empathetically, responsibly, and effectively.
